چکیده

A typechecker for a typed -calculus having implicit arguments is presented. The typechecker works in such a way that the uniqueness of implicit arguments is always preserved during reduction. Consequently, when it compares two terms by reduction, it can reduce them without inferring implicit arguments. Before describing the typechecker, we analyze various situations where the uniqueness of implicit arguments is not preserved by na vely de ned reduction. یافتن الگوهای مکرّر در قرآن کریم به‌‌کمک روش‌‌های متن‌‌کاوی

Quran’s Text differs from any other texts in terms of its exceptional concepts, ideas and subjects. To recognize the valuable implicit patterns through a vast amount of data has lately captured the attention of so many researchers. Text Mining provides the grounds to extract information from texts and it can help us reach our objective in this regard. In recent years, Text Mining on Quran and e...

Implicit Zero-Knowledge Arguments and Applications to the Malicious Setting

We introduce implicit zero-knowledge arguments (iZK) and simulation-sound variants thereof (SSiZK); these are lightweight alternatives to zero-knowledge arguments for enforcing semi-honest behavior. Our main technical contribution is a construction of efficient two-flow iZK and SSiZK protocols for a large class of languages under the (plain) DDH assumption in cyclic groups in the common referen...

Efficiency of Anti-Hourglassing Approaches in Finite Element Method (TECHNICAL NOTE)

one of the simplest numerical integration method which provides a large saving in computational efforts, is the well known one-point Gauss quadrature which is widely used for 4 nodes quadrilateral elements. On the other hand, the biggest disadvantage to one-point integration is the need to control the zero energy modes, called hourglassing modes, which arise. The efficiency of four different an...

Against 'big bang' in economic transition: normative and positive arguments

This paper puts forward two major sets of institutional and systems arguments against implementing the 'big bang' experiment in the transformation of centrally planned economies: (1) problems arising from the difficulties of establishing criteria for asset valuation in the transition and the large backlog of the 'implicit contracts of socialism'; and (2) the danger of unleashing uncoordinated c...

The Penn Discourse Treebank 2.0 Annotation Manual

This report contains the guidelines for the annotation of discourse relations in the Penn Discourse Treebank (http://www.seas.upenn.edu/~pdtb), PDTB. Discourse relations in the PDTB are annotated in a bottom up fashion, and capture both lexically realized relations as well as implicit relations. Guidelines in this report are provided for all aspects of the annotation, including annotation expli...
